Booking and Payment

 

Deposit

 

1.1 A deposit equivalent to 20% of the total booking value is required at time of booking

1.2 This deposit is refundable up until 36 days prior to arrival date

1.3 Full payment is required at the time of booking if travel is within 21 days of arrival date

1.4 Bookings made via the website direct incur a 1.25% surcharge for Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, JCB and AMEX. Credit/debit card transaction fees apply and are non-refundable


Final Balance

1.5 The final balance payment of your accommodation is required no later than 21 days prior to arrival date

1.6 Final balance payments are automatically processed on the nominated credit card provided at the time of booking

1.7 Final balance payments not received by 21 days prior to arrival date may result in cancellation of the reservation

1.8 To pre-pay your final balance via an alternative method, please contact Whitsunday74


Cancellation and Amendments

1.9 Cancellations and amendments received outside 36 days of arrival date will not incur a   cancellation fee

1.10 Cancellations and amendments received within 36-21 days of arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value

1.11 Cancellations and amendments received within 21 days of arrival date, ‘No Shows’ and/or ‘Early Departures’ will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value

1.12 Notice of any cancellation, amendment or reduction in reserved rooms must be provided in writing to Whitsunday74 on admin@whitsunday74.com.au 

1.13 If you have booked through a travel agent or Online Travel Agent, please contact them directly to make changes to your booking

1.14 Credit/debit card transaction fees apply and are non-refundable


Check-in and Check-out

2.1. Check-in time is 2:00 PM on the arrival date, and check-out time is 10:00 AM on the departure date.

2.2. Late check-outs may be subject to an additional fee.

2.3. Guests are required to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, with all dishes washed and put away, and all rubbish and recycling disposed of in the designated bins.


Property Use and Maintenance

3.1. The maximum occupancy of the property must not be exceeded without prior consent from Whitsunday74.

3.2. The property is strictly non-smoking, and smoking inside the property will result in a cleaning fee.

3.3. Pets are not allowed on the property without prior consent from Whitsunday74.

3.4. Guests are responsible for maintaining the property during their stay and reporting any damages or issues to Whitsunday74 promptly.

3.5. Guests must comply with any rules or guidelines specific to the property, as outlined in the property manual.


Liability and Insurance

4.1. Whitsunday74 is not liable for any loss or damage to the guest's personal property or for any injury or accident that occurs on the property.

4.2. Guests are recommended to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may affect their stay.

4.3. Whitsunday74 is not responsible for any disruption to the guest's stay due to events beyond its control, such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters.


Dispute Resolution 

5.1. In the event of any dispute between the guest and Whitsunday74, both parties will attempt to resolve the issue amicably.

5.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of Queensland.


Governing Law

 6.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.


Smoking Policy

7.1 We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all our guests. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of our holiday rental properties indoor areas and, balconies. 


We ask that guests respect our no smoking policy, and only smoking in the designated areas 


7.2 If guests are found to be smoking in the property, an additional cleaning fee of $600 will be charged to their account. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment for all our guests
